For a little over 5 years, I’ve been watering and nurturing my small business. It started as a small idea as my wife purchased a camera for me after seeing how much I was into taking photo’s when I traveled (a trend that’s continued to this day lol) to me getting comfortable with the uncomfortable and pursing my passion full time this year. Ever since I started, I would like to say I’ve had several fellow photog friends who supported me, and gave me advice to start growing and to take my craft seriously and push myself to pursue what I love full time. Danielle was one of those photog’s. Not only is she a bad-ass photographer, but she has given me advice from the get go on how to grow, how to deal with situation’s, and cheered me on since I started for me to keep going and growing. There’s a misconception in this industry that if we are not friends we are competition, and at the end of the day — I’ve never felt we are here to work against each other. We are all on the same field looking to grow, and anyway that we can push each other to get better it’s a blessing.

Danielle a few months ago, reached out and let me know her and Frankie had never had photo’s taken together. She asked me if I could capture them. I was instantly humbled. One of my photo mentors, asking me to capture them knowing that they haven’t been on a camera professionally ever. I let her know I would love to capture them both, and we collaborated on location and clothing. This past weekend, we woke up too early (cafecito was needed) to capture some magic. Hanging out with these two was literally like hanging with old friends, and their chemistry truly showed on camera. One of my favorite beach shoot’s I’ve ever captured.
